This was a good idea for a post. Also I've only seen like 5 of these.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's among my lowest effort posts ever. I feel like the western genre has been losing relevance since the 60s. So if you ever get into that earlier era it's more natural to watch them; less so in more recent eras.
DeleteSurprising to think you haven't seen Tarantino's consistent vote for best film ever (Good Bad Ugly)
ReplyDeleteI found OUATITW a little boring. And I also watched another Leone western and had a similar experience. So never felt the urgency on it.
DeleteBut really I should see it. I am a big Eastwood fan (though more as a director). And I like the nearly 3 hour runtime--seems immersive.
Interesting... never knew QT held it in such high esteem.
